The EPAN Chamber
combines spent fixer, developer and wash water, neutralizing the
pH of the chemical solutions. By neutralizing the chemistry’s
pH, iron and debris suspended in solution are released, collecting
inside the EPAN Chamber. Without an EPAN, this reaction normally
takes place in the drain system, restricting and eventually plugging
the drain pipes.
